Set Free poem by Tami Anderson

Set Free

It's like a prisoner set free
When no one cares about the lonely old me.

Let me go to live with Thee
Let me know there's something to believe

No one visits, no one cares
No one even comes by to see if I'm there.

Then I slip away one night
I said it's time for my flight

I finally found someone to care
You took my hand and led me there
It's beautiful! I CAN'T BELIEVE...
What I've missed, I ask to leave.

He held me close and said,
"Though, your life was a mess And it came to a halt
you still can have all of this... by default.

May we all be inspired by the act of kindness towards our fellow human beings. Let's all make an effort to love one another as Christ loved us.
